Summer in Ibiza is a good time to start navigation techniques. Children from 5 years and adults have the opportunity to enjoy sports and learn to handle a kayak or sail.

Some of the courses are:

CLUB NÁUTICO IBIZA

Courses for beginners and advanced sailing the oldest school on the island are aimed at children between 7 and 13 years, while in the young adult can participate from 14 years.
The Club Náutico Ibiza also teaches kayaking, a type of boat in high demand this summer. Children’s courses are taught this method from age 9, while adults are aimed at over 16, both initiation and improvement. In addition, adults can take sailing techniques in differents sailing boats.

CLUB NÁUTICO SANTA EULALIA

Multiactivity is the course Star Club Nautico Santa Eulalia where children from 8 to 14 years sailing practice two hours and two hours kayak.

Smaller passionate about sailing can choose the boat that best suits their interests and level such as optimist, bic open, windsurfing, topaz topper, topper omega or shrimp.

For children 5 to 7 years the only condition to enjoy workshops, games, excursions and practice of sailing is be able to swim.

ES NÀUTIC

The summer school Es Nàutic organizes intensive courses for children and youth sailing (8-17 years old); Children and junior kayaking (8-15 years old); Sailing open (over 12 years); open kayaking (over 10 years), cruise (over 12 years) sea garden (children 6 and 7 years), as well as sailing and kayaking intensive weekend for adults over 18 years.

Enrique Mas, technical director of the sports area, says that classes have about eighty students every day, at the end of summer courses have participated in school about four hundred people.
