Monday was a very special night for blues and jazz lovers because they had the opportunity to enjoy one of the most legendary bands in history, The Original Blues Brothers Band.
This was the first time that the band performed in Spain and the expectation was maximum. At one in the morning the first musical notes began to play, with a powerful rhythm & blues and from that moment the audience was surrendered before them.
Famous songs like ‘Soul man’, ‘Knock on wood’ and ‘Everybody needs somebody to love’ sounded in the main hall of the Pachá nightclub, which was very crowded throughout the night.
After the concert, the party continued with tributes to singers like Amy Winehouse, John Lennon, Ray Charles or Bob Marley, among others. As well as the motorcycle shows or the hippie demonstration.
In addition the decoration, set in the 60’s, filled with strident colors and references to the peace symbol throughout the nightclub.
For their part, the attendants dressed very colorful and accompanied their looks with flowers and round glasses.
The most hippie essence of the island was concentrated in Pachá, which since 1980 gives place every summer to this fun party created by Piti Urgell.
