The Club Nautico Sant Antoni, in addition to offering the highest quality service to its members and users, has two main priorities: to contribute to the planning and care of one of the most attractive bays of the Mediterranean and promote water sports.
The 2016 season is already one of the best for Es Nàutic with a high increase in occupation of moorings and buoys. In August has reached one hundred percent occupancy.
In this effort to maintain order and the bay, Es Nàutic had installed and manages a set of ecological buoys which do not damage the seabed. This initiative has received a very positive response from the users.
The other big priority of Es Nàutic is the promotion of sports like sailing and canoeing among the islands. These activities are important in the holidays with ‘Sant Bartomeu Nàutic program’, which will run from 16 to 20 August.
The first day there will be a local test that involved all sections and sports club. Section fifty dinghy sailors participate in classes Optimist, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, 29er and Topaz. Canoeing be counted in forty paddlers, fifteen cruise ships and six classics.
On 20 August, it Es Nàutic also celebrate the Day of the Kayak, in collaboration with the City of Sant Antoni and Kayak-Ibiza. It is expected to exceed 178 participants last year, which already was a record. The paddlers will leave Sant Antoni heading to Cala Gració along the coast. To participate in this test is not necessary to have kayak and the registration fee is between 5 and 10 €.
It has ten pontoons Nàutic hosting five hundred seventy-eight boats up to fifty meters long and five draft.
Club history dates back to 1973 when it was created by a group of friends who love the sea and water sports.
